Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview

This page explains how to delete the personal information that Syngulr AI (“Syngulr”) holds about you, including any data we receive from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) when you connect a Meta advertising account to the Service. It supplements the deletion rights described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What Meta data we hold

When you connect Meta Ads, you authorize Syngulr to access your Meta advertising data through the Meta Marketing API. In connection with that integration we store, on the workspace (engine) provisioned for your organization:

  • A Meta access token, encrypted at rest, used to make API calls on your behalf;
  • Your Facebook user ID and the permissions you granted, used to identify the connection and validate access;
  • Any ad account, campaign, or performance insights that you asked an agent to retrieve, which appear only in the relevant chat history. We do not maintain a separate copy or warehouse of your Meta advertising data.

3. Delete it yourself (fastest)

You can revoke access and delete the stored Meta credentials at any time, without contacting us:

  • In Syngulr: open Integrations → Meta Ads and choose Disconnect. This immediately deletes the stored access token, your Facebook user ID, and the granted-permissions record from the workspace.
  • In Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools), select Syngulr, and choose Remove. This revokes the permissions you granted to our app.

To also remove any Meta data that appears in past conversations, delete the relevant chats, or request a full account deletion as described below.

4. Request deletion by email

To request deletion of all personal information we hold about you – including Meta-derived data, your account, and your Customer Content – email [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. To help us locate your data, please include the email address associated with your Syngulr account and, if your request concerns a Meta connection, the Facebook account or ad account you connected.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will confirm receipt within a reasonable period and complete the deletion within the time required by applicable law, removing the data from active systems and from backups within the retention windows described in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy. Some information may be retained where the law requires it (for example, billing and tax records).
